The Startup and Commissioning Manager oversees site commissioning for AP1000 Unit #1 at the Sanmen facility. The position supports the Site Project Management Office (SPMO). This position will be located in Stoughton, MA for approximately one year before mobilizing to Sanmen, China. While in the Stoughton office, responsible for supporting, scheduling, and interfacing with the engineering groups to assure a smooth commissioning process. This position will monitor the site schedule to identify trends and initiate proactive measures to maintain progress for the commissioning process. Ensure construction subcontractors are adhering to site QA/QC Program. Ensures Safety Standards are being met. Implements programs to oversee and monitor progress of the construction contractors. Supports coordination of interfaces between design groups and ensure design supports commissioning. The Commissioning Manager must interface with the Procurement group to provide schedule and technical requirements for procurement of materials. Provide routine reporting on commissioning activities, including immediate reporting of urgent issues. Foster harmonious working relationships and professionalism between and among all site engaged parties. Provides for audits and surveillances to ensure milestones are met for contract performance. The Commissioning Manager resolves complex problems to assist the project between internal and external organizations.

Status:	Staff
Required Skills/Experience:	Engineering degree or equivalent experience required; Minimum 15-20 years experience self performed commissioning management on Power Plant Start-up sequencing including at least 10 years of nuclear power plant commissioning experience. Must have experience in nuclear containment.
