Job Purpose & Scope:

Qualifications & Experience:

The job holder must have

· Degree in engineering or equivalent safety engineering experience in Oil and Gas industry;

· 10 - 15 years experience in the Offshore and Onshore Oil and Gas sector within Engineering, Production; Drilling projects and/or Operations.

· Minimum 10 years experience as a HSE professional working in Oil & Gas industry and Management experience for various HSE and Safety Case developments activities;

· Project experience at Concept Selection, FEED, Detailed Design and Operations Phases.

Required Competencies:

The job holder must have proven:

· Broad understanding of the Technical Engineering issues of Exploration, Drilling and Production activities;

· Broad understanding of the Safety issues of Exploration, Drilling and Production activities;

· Good understanding of the Safety Case requirements for the North Caspian;

· Team worker and self - motivator ;

· Competence in the preparation of technical documentation to a high standard;

· Computer literate on Microsoft programs: Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel;

· Knowledge of RoK HSE legislation and standards is desirable but not essential;

· Ability to work as a team member as well as team leader with minimum supervision;

· Good mentoring and coaching skills;

· Good communication, interpersonal, diplomatic, supervisory, written, spoken and presentation skills.
