Kentz is listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. Due to continued growth in our operations, we are seeking new personnel to join our project teams. We now require PLANT MANAGER in South Africa. We require an experienced person to Manage our extensive fleet of cranes throughout the South African region (Botwana, Mozambique and South Africa). The successful candidate would be expected to come from within the industry, probably a Diesel Mechanic / Electronics / Hydraulics Technician and with a knowledge of Tadano and Kobelco cranes. The successful candidate would have a technical background i.e. Diesel Mechanic with either Hydraulic and/or Electronic experience. They would be responsible for managing a team of mechanics etc who would be involved in the carrying out of preventative maintenance throughout the crane fleet / region Candidates should be qualified in an Engineering Trade – Preferably Diesel Mechanic / Technician Also have at least 10 years post apprenticeship experience in the following; Diesel Engines Mobile Crane or earth Moving Hydraulic Systems Mobile Crane Electric Systems Automatic pre-select Transmissions Hydro-Pneumatic suspension systems SLI / LMI Crane Computer Systems Candidates must have a sound background in Mobile Cranes & Lattice Boom Crawler Cranes and have at least 5 years Management experience in an engineering/construction field Also have a Technical Qualification (an LMI registration would be an advantage),Experience with Service Planning & Scheduling and be Computer Literate (MS Word & Excel – As a minimum)
